Falzes in Italy: finding us is easy

When travelling from Germany or Austria, take the train to Fortezza. There, change to the Puster Valley railway (Pustertaler Bahn) and travel to Brunico. We will pick you up there.

From Austria

• From Vienna/Eastern and Northern Austria
  From Vienna, travel through Linz, Salzburg (A1) and Rosenheim until you get to Innsbruck, then change onto the A13 and travel towards Brenner. Then, on the A22, take the Val Pusteria exit and follow the SS49 until you get to the municipality of Chienes, where the road branches towards Falzes/Issengo. Our hotel is right on Lake Issengo.
  
  
• From Graz/Southern Austria
  From the south of Austria, travel over Klagenfurt (A2) and Lienz (B100) until you get to Sillian and then cross into Italy. Follow the SS49 until you get to the municipality of Chienes, where the road branches towards Falzes/Issengo. Our hotel is right on Lake Issengo.
  
  
• From Vorarlberg/Western Austria
  From Vorarlberg, you can either travel over the Resia Pass and then across Val Venosta, Merano and Bolzano (SS38), turning onto the A22 towards Brennero and then taking the Val Pusteria exit, or you can travel through the Inn Valley (A12) to Innsbruck and then head south on the A13 – over the Brennero Pass and the A22 until you reach the Val Pusteria exit. Follow the SS49 until you get to the municipality of Chienes, where the road branches towards Falzes/Issengo. Our hotel is right on Lake Issengo.

From Germany

• Over Garmisch-Partenkirchen:
  From Garmisch-Partenkirchen, travel to Zirl and then take the A12 to Innsbruck. There, take the Brennero exit and travel to Brennero on the A13 and A22. Take the Val Pusteria exit and follow the SS49 until you get to the municipality of Chienes, where the road branches towards Falzes/Issengo. Our hotel is right on Lake Issengo.
  
  
• Over Munich/Rosenheim:
  From Munich, travel to Rosenheim on the A12 and then, when you approach Innsbruck, take the A13 fork towards Brennero. On the A22, take the Val Pusteria exit and follow the SS49 until you get to the municipality of Chienes, where the road branches towards Falzes/Issengo. Our hotel is right on Lake Issengo.  

From Switzerland

• Graubünden:
  From Switzerland, travel to Zernez on the B28 and then over the Ofen Pass and into the Münstertal Valley, where you will cross the Italian border. Travel through Tubre on the SS41 until you reach Glorenza. In the town square, turn right towards Sluderno and drive to the traffic lights. Turn right towards Merano (SS38) and follow the road to Lagundo. From there, take the dual carriageway to Bolzano and then the A22 motorway until the Val Pusteria exit. Follow the SS49 until you get to the municipality of Chienes, where the road branches towards Falzes/Issengo. 
  Alternatively, you can travel through Feldkirch (A14) and Arlberg until you reach Innsbruck (A12), before turning onto the A13 towards Brennero. Take the A22 motorway until the Val Pusteria exit and follow the SS49 until you get to the municipality of Chienes, where the road branches towards Falzes/Issengo. • Zürich/St. Gallen
  From Zürich, travel on the A12 to Innsbruck, passing Winterthur, St. Gallen, Feldkirch and Arlberg. Then, turn onto the A13 and drive towards Brennero. Take the A22 motorway until the Val Pusteria exit and follow the SS49 until you get to the municipality of Chienes, where the road branches towards Falzes/Issengo. From Southern Italy

• From the south, take the A22 motorway until the Val Pusteria exit and follow the SS49 until you get to the municipality of Chienes, where the road branches towards Falzes/Issengo. Our hotel is right on Lake Issengo.
