Active summer holidays in South Tyrol

You should definitely take advantage of the opportunity to embrace the unique mountain world, the rivers and lakes which make our region one of the most beautiful places on the planet while staying in our active hotel in South Tyrol. Alongside the more traditional leisure activities such as hiking, Nordic walking and mountain biking, alternative adventure sports such as paragliding, white water rafting and canoeing, as well as climbing in the high-rope garden are becoming more and more popular.

We will be delighted to provide you with more information about the various activities you can take part in while on holiday in the Puster Valley.

KronAction: for your active summer holidays in South Tyrol

The largest high-rope garden in the province, KronAction, is right on our active hotel’s doorstep. 14 obstacle courses with over 140 stations and in varying levels of difficulty ensure that guests of all ages, abilities and sizes can access and enjoy what we have to offer. The KronAction high-rope garden and adventure park is right next to the Green Lake Hotel Weiher, meaning you can get there as quick as a flash… it’s only a two-minute walk! Staying with us gives you an added bonus as you’ll receive a generous discount on all activities at KronAction.

The obstacle course can also be tackled by families with small children. Under the safe instruction of the guides, you can practice on the orientation ropes, which are only a metre above ground, and learn the correct way to climb, ensuring you know exactly what to do when you get to the main, 20-metre-high obstacle course. Of course, you will be fully protected during your time at the high-rope garden.

Alongside the high-rope garden, KronAction has other appealing attractions such as, for example, the human catapult which will fling you into the air at more than 100kph in the general direction of Lake Issengo – this true test for the nerves is nonetheless safe, as you’ll be securely strapped to the elasticated ropes! Adrenaline junkies can get their fix on the bungee trampoline or on a free fall from a height of 13m. As our guest, you’ll also receive fantastic discounts.

The end of an action-packed day calls for a delicious gourmet meal or a dip in the refreshing pools at your active hotel in South Tyrol… the Green Lake Hotel Weiher. Holidaying in the Puster Valley doesn’t get more exciting!

White water rafting, kayaking and canyoning

Also only two minutes from the hotel is a rafting and kayaking centre where you can book exciting days out under the tutelage of highly-trained experts. As a guest in our hotel, you’re eligible for discounts here, too. Through tight ravines and over wild waters, these thrilling white water rafting and canoeing tours are a true adventure for the whole family! As you whoosh down South Tyrol’s wild rivers, you’ll be enchanted by the beautiful views of the valley landscape. In canyons formed thousands of years ago, adrenaline junkies and climbing enthusiasts will feel right at home as the newly popular sport of canyoning promises excitement and adventure!

Take a bird’s eye view on our hotel during your active summer holidays

Paragliding over our active hotel in South Tyrol, over the Puster Valley and the Plan de Corones holiday region, you can gain brand new perspectives. From high in the clouds, people almost look like ants and the cars look like toys as they travel over the landscape.

There are so many different possibilities for paragliding near our hotel. Plan de Corones (alt. 2,275m) or Monte Spico (alt. 2,400m) are the most popular starting points. From here, you will have a magnificent view of the Dolomites’ unique mountain world. The mountain tops pass majestically by and, in the spring or autumn, some still have snow on them and twinkle in the sun – a sheer dream!
